Week 8 Summary of Events


Hi everyone! This is Nicole, the new IT Officer of Cast On Charity. Congratulations to the all the enthusiastic and talented ladies who are now the new members of our committee.

 The other new committee members Althea De Las Alas (Advertising Officer), Lotus Leaf (Events Organiser) and finally Nicole ;) Tay (IT Officer).

 Here's a timeline summarizing key events since the 2015 AGM.

  1. Easter Break Picnic
  2. Official Handover (W6)
  3. First workshop back (W7, Joe Napolitano A)
  4. Discussing future projects - super soft animals made from socks! (W8, Graham Cornish B)
  5. First official sale event of 2015 - the Night Market! (W8, Concrete Lawn, northern side)

All future sessions will be held from 11am - 2pm *unless otherwise specified. There will be a Facebook reminder every week as well as an email sent to members and those who are interested in joining our club.
The meeting for week 9, Tuesday May 5th is at Mary Cooke A, 1pm - 3pm. There will be cordial, and hopefully a greater variety of biscuits and snacks.

 I hope to see you all at the Night Market and our next workshop! :D
